Who we are
Utility Works Studio makes data tools for SEO and local search. Contact: [email protected].
This website
Public pages set no cookies. Subscribers who sign in get one essential session cookie, which keeps them signed in for up to 30 days. The site runs no analytics or advertising trackers, and does not sell personal data. Fonts and styles are served from this site. Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and block abuse.
The free ranking checker
When you run a check, the business name, city and search you enter are sent to our data provider, DataForSEO, to fetch Google Maps results. We do not keep them. To enforce the daily limit we store a count of checks per IP address for up to two days. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated traffic; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Paid tools
Paid tools run on Apify, which handles your account, payment and the results each run produces under Apify's privacy policy. The inputs you give a tool are sent to our data provider only to produce your results. Some tools keep a summary of earlier results in your own Apify storage so they can report changes.
Weekly tracking subscription
Paddle, our reseller and merchant of record, handles checkout, payment and invoices under Paddle's privacy policy; we never see card details. We keep your email address, the businesses and keywords you choose, and the scan results, so we can run the scans and send your weekly email (sent through Resend). We delete them within 90 days of your subscription ending, or sooner if you ask.
If you email us, we use your message and address to reply and keep a record of the conversation.
